Quetta, August 8 – Balochistan Governor Jafar Khan Mandokhail said that Lawyers’ Martyrs’ Day is being observed across the province with deep respect and reverence.
This day pays tribute to the lawyers who were martyred in the tragic incident of August 8.
He noted that the legal fraternity plays a vital role in ensuring access to justice and raising public awareness about rights and responsibilities.
Governor Mandokhail remarked that the terrorist attack of August 8 claimed the lives of dozens of provincial legal experts, a loss that can never be compensated.
Even after several years, their absence is still deeply felt.
He expressed confidence that the sacrifices of those who gave their lives for the cause of justice would not go in vain.

The governor further saluted these brave martyrs and their families, who continue to honor their legacy by upholding justice and the rule of law in Balochistan, affirming that their sacrifices will be remembered forever.
