First Iran Air flight departs from Quetta to Zahedan

QUETTA: According to the Pakistan Airports Authority, a ceremony was held in Quetta to mark the departure of the first Iran Air flight from the city to Zahedan.

The event was attended by the Iranian Consul General, the Airport Manager, the Chief Security Officer (CSO) of the ASF, and representatives of the Chamber of Commerce.

Iran Air flight IR-824, carrying 75 passengers, departed for Zahedan at 11:30 p.m. last night.

Earlier, the airline’s first inbound flight had arrived from Zahedan to Quetta at 9:15 p.m. the same evening.

The flight operations were suspended aftar Iran attacks on US airbases located in Qatar, Iraq and Syria.

The attacks were Iran’s response to Israel’s hostility on Iran.

Israel had launched missile attacks on Iran causing deaths to high level military leadership, scientists and the civilians.

Israel had also launched attacks in Irani official media buildings.

Iran had retaliated by launching missile attacks on Israel’s military installations and air bases.

US too, in response to Iran’s attacks on Israel, had targeted the Fordow nuclear plant by B2 Bomber.

US claimed that Iran’s reserves of Uranium were completely destroyed during that attack.

However, Iran had denied U. S’s claim and had targeted U.S. airbases in Qatar and Syria.

Pakistan had suspended flight operations to many countries including Iran keeping in view the escalation in the middle east.
