ISLAMABAD: Pakistan intensifies operations against terrorist networks along its western frontiers, Indian propaganda accounts continue to circulate misleading narratives online in a bid to maintain influence and relevance.
There are certain accounts such as “Baba Banaras,” it is recognized as part of India’s coordinated disinformation efforts, have been active on platforms like X, spreading unverified videos and inflammatory content.
Pakistan’s elite Special Services Group (SSG) has carried out a series of precision operations targeting militant hideouts reportedly supported by foreign intelligence agencies.
There are some sources in Pakistan’s security establishment report that electronic warfare units have also been deployed to counter digital disinformation, including fabricated attack videos and fake casualty reports aimed at undermining morale and sowing confusion among the public.

The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has urged the public to rely on verified news sources and avoid sharing unconfirmed reports.
