Security forces killed Fitna Al Hindustan terrorists in Duki

DUKI: Security forces successfully killed two terrorists and apprehended two others during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the Duki district of Balochistan.

The operation which was launched following credible intelligence reports indicating the presence of terrorists in the area. During the engagement, troops effectively targeted the hideout of what the military described as Fitna Al Hindustan.

In this sense, this development follows a series of recent counter-terrorism successes in Balochistan. In addition, earlier this month, ISPR reported that seven terrorists belonging to the Indian proxy group Fitna al Hindustan were killed in two separate operations.

The ISPR mentioned that these actions are part of a larger effort to dismantle foreign-backed terror networks operating within Pakistan.

The presence and activities of such elements have long posed a threat to regional stability and internal security.

Meanwhile, according to a recent report by the Pakistan Institute for Conflict and Security Studies (PICSS), the country experienced 85 militant attacks in May, slightly up from 81 in April.

These attacks claimed 113 lives, including 52 security personnel and 46 civilians. However, analysts believe that despite regional tensions, terror groups have not managed to scale up their operations significantly.
