Funeral prayers held for martyred police officers in Balochistan

QUETTA: The funeral prayers of Inspector Abdul Razzaq and Head Constable Raz Muhammad, who were martyred in the line of duty in Balochistan, were held with full honors.

According to details, the ceremony was led by Inspector General of Police (IGP) Muhammad Moazam Jah Ansari and attended by senior civil and police officials, including Additional Chief Secretary (Home) Balochistan, Muhammad Hamza Shafqaat.

The funeral took place amidst a somber atmosphere, where the bravery, dedication, and sacrifice of the martyred officers were remembered and lauded. Attendees paid rich tribute to the fallen heroes for their unwavering commitment to maintaining peace and security in the province.

Speaking on the occasion, IGP Balochistan said that Inspector Abdul Razzaq and Head Constable Raz Muhammad sacrificed by their lives and proved that Balochistan Police will not hesitate to make any sacrifice against terrorism. Their sacrifice will always be remembered and all possible support will be provided to their families.

He further said that these police martyrs are our heroes, who sacrificed their lives for the nation. The war against terrorism will continue until the last terrorist is eliminated.

The provincial government and police department expressed their deepest condolences to the bereaved families and assured them of full support during this difficult time.
