QUETTA: The provincial government of Balochistan has approved the ad hoc relief allowance for government employees in Balochistan.
A notification of approval has also been issued by the Balochistan Finance Department; 10 percent of the basic salary will be given as ad hoc relief allowance from BPS 1 to 22.
According to the notification, the increase in salaries will be effective from July 1, 2025, and allowance will not be given to those employees who are on posting or deputation abroad.

The statement by the Balochistan Finance Department further stated that the expenditure on allowances will be adjusted in the revised budget estimates.
