QUETTA: The Anti-Corruption Department registered a case and arrested five officials in the Balochistan Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education in fake certificate investigation.
According to the report of local news channel, Geo News, it has been revealed that fake certificates were made and record tampering was done in the Balochistan Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education.
Director General Anti-Corruption Balochistan Abdul Wahid Kakar told local news channel that a student from Washik district Saeed Ahmed got admission in Bolan Medical College Quetta by obtaining fake FSC mark sheets with the connivance of board officials. He added that the Balochistan High Court (BHC) has ordered the Anti-Corruption to take action against this student for forgery.
Kakar said that when the Anti-Corruption Department conducted its investigation, it was revealed that fake certificates were being made and records were being tampered with in the Balochistan Board. The investigation proved that the marks in the original mark sheet of the student Saeed were low, but he got admission in the medical college on the fake mark sheet with the connivance of the board officials.

The Anti-Corruption Department registered a case and arrested five officials including Additional Controller Noor Ahmed, Deputy Controller Munawar Hussain of the Balochistan Board and the student Saeed Ahmed.
The DG Anti-Corruption said that more arrests are expected in this case.
