DSP Rahmeen martyred in South Waziristan attack by Fitna Al Khawarij

PESHAWAR: Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Rahmeen Khan, who was critically injured in a cowardly attack by militants of the Fitna Al Khawarij in Lower South Waziristan’s Tullai Khula area, he was succumbed to his injuries at Mission Hospital in Peshawar.

The fallen officer, serving as SDPO of Birmal Circle, had been under treatment for several days following the targeted assault by unidentified assailants. The attack, which was widely condemned as an act of cowardice by anti-state actors, has once again spotlighted the growing threat posed by the Fitna Al Khawarijin in the region. 

In addition, IGP Zulfiqar Hameed and CCPO Qasim Ali Khan laid floral wreaths on the martyr’s coffin and offered prayers for the promotion of his ranks in the hereafter. 

The Fitna Al Khawarij continues to pose a serious threat to peace and stability in the province, as it remains repeatedly involved in orchestrating violent attacks and spreading unrest across various regions.

Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi also expressed profound grief and paid homage to the martyred DSP.

The martyrdom of DSP Rahmeen Khan adds to the long list of sacrifices made by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police in the fight against terrorism, a struggle that continues with renewed determination.
