Dera Bugti: Balochistan is stepping into a new era of development and healthcare advancement.
In the past, many pregnant women from remote areas of the province tragically lost their lives during childbirth due to a lack of medical facilities, and countless newborns also passed away because of inaccessible healthcare services. However, this is now changing.
On the special directive of Balochistan’s Chief Minister, a fabricated medical container has been introduced in the rural areas surrounding Dera Bugti.
Lady doctor Sophia Faiz explained that this container functions as a mobile operation theater, traveling to remote villages to perform childbirth surgeries.
The unit is equipped with solar-powered air conditioning, advanced surgical tools, essential medications, and includes a patient bed and washroom for convenience.
This solar-powered mobile medical facility represents a groundbreaking initiative in provinces like Balochistan, where access to healthcare has long been a challenge.
