A ban has been enforced on bringing non-local laborers into Awaran district. According to a notification issued by the Assistant Commissioner’s office,
it is now mandatory to obtain prior permission from the AC office before hiring or bringing any non-local workers into the region.
This decision has been made in view of the current security situation.
Authorities noted that several incidents of targeted killings of non-local, particularly Punjabi laborers, have occurred in different parts of Balochistan.

These acts are suspected to be carried out by foreign-sponsored terrorist groups. As a precaution, restrictions have been placed on employing non-local workers in the area.
