CTD arrests suspect in Quetta over Mossad-RAW backed cyber plot

QUETTA: The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) Balochistan has arrested a man from Satellite Town, Quetta, involved in a major cyber operation targeting Pakistan and its institutions.

According to reports, the arrested suspect, Muhammad Nadeem, was found with a Python script on his laptop titled BlueWhale-BYC-05.py, used to control over 20,000 fake social media accounts aimed at defaming Pakistan and its institutions.

According to CTD, forensic analysis revealed the script was modified by an Israeli programmer, Yael Ben Shaul, reportedly arrested in Iran on espionage charges.

Authorities believe the operation is part of a coordinated cyber campaign by the Mossad-RAW nexus to destabilize Pakistan through digital misinformation.
