QUETTA: Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti, has taken strict notice of teachers repeatedly absent from duty. He has ordered to stop their salaries immediately.
The Chief Minister directed the Education Department to submit a detailed report on negligent staff.
He instructed that show-cause notices be issued within a week to all teachers absent without permission.
“If they fail to provide a satisfactory response, new teachers will be hired on a contract basis,” said CM Bugti.
He also made it clear that no employee union or association will be allowed to lock down institutions.
The CM ordered officers to ensure attendance through field visits and to monitor performance regularly.
