QUETTA: Balochistan Grand Alliance announced that they will hold sit-ins on the main roads of the Balochistan on Wednesday against the illegal arrests of Balochistan Grand Alliance leaders, and the breach of promise and fraud of the provincial government.
Leaders of Balochistan Grand Alliance fully supporting the boycott of offices and classes, the committee appealed to the teachers, officers and employees of the University of Balochistan, including the University of Balochistan, to boycott the offices and classes on Wednesday and hold a protest sit-in on Sariab Road in front of the University of Balochistan at 11:30 am.
According to the statement, the provincial government committee comprising ministers Raheela Hameed Durrani and Bakht Muhammad Kakar promised after negotiations with the leaders of the Balochistan Grand Alliance that the demands of the Grand Alliance, especially for all the universities of the province, will be allocated Rs 11 billion by the provincial government, which will be separate from the Rs 3 billion announced by the federal government and will be presented to the high-level committee to end the notification of the provincial government to end the allowances approved by the universities in the past few days.

However, the provincial finance minister in his budget speech deviated from his promises by keeping only Rs 8 billion as the points recognized as a result of negotiations with the Grand Alliance, especially for the government universities of the province, which actually falls under the category of fraud.
The statement said that despite the passage of 24 days, the teachers and officers of the University of Balochistan have still been deprived of their May salaries and pensions.
