TEHRAN: Iran has launched fresh attacks on Israel, with the Israeli Air Force claiming it has intercepted and shot down several drones fired from Iranian territory.
According to reports, a missile struck a house in Israel’s southern district, while another caused damage to a building in the northern district.
In a significant escalation, one missile landed near Ben Gurion Airport. In Haifa, a powerful explosion was followed by rising smoke, while residential buildings in Carmel sustained damage due to missile impacts. Coastal areas have also been affected, with some buildings catching fire after being hit.

In occupied Jerusalem, fragments of a missile damaged a residential structure. Israeli authorities have issued immediate instructions for civilians to take shelter in secure locations.
