Constable martyred in battle against Khawarij laid to rest with full honors

LAKKI MARWAT: Various government officials gathered at the Lakki Marwat Police Lines today to offer funeral prayers for Constable Shahid, who embraced martyrdom while courageously fighting against the militant group known as Fitna-e-Khawarij.

The funeral prayers were held with full police protocol, honoring the supreme sacrifice made by Constable Shahid in the line of duty. 

The martyrdom occurred during an anti-terror operation in the Lakki Marwat district, where security forces were engaged in a fierce encounter with militants aiming to destabilize the region.

Furthermore, senior officials from the police, military, and local administration were present at the ceremony, alongside the martyr’s grieving family and fellow citizens. 

The atmosphere was heavy with emotion as the body of the brave officer, draped in the national flag, was brought forward for final respects.

He was speaking on the occasion, senior police officials praised Constable Shahid’s valor and dedication, describing him as a symbol of courage and resilience.

The martyr’s family, while deeply saddened, expressed immense pride in their son’s heroism.

Constable Shahid’s burial took place with full state honors, including a police guard of honor and a gun salute, underlining the nation’s deep respect for its fallen hero.

Lakki Marwat, a district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, has long been a frontline in the war against terrorism. The martyrdom of Constable Shahid marks another chapter in the ongoing sacrifices made by Pakistan’s security forces to uphold national security and peace.
