Justice Rozi Khan Bareech sworn in as acting chief justice of BHC

Quetta:  The new acting chief of Balochistan High court has taken the oath.  Justice Rozi Khan Bareech of the Balochistan High Court has taken the oath as the acting Chief Justice.

The oath-taking ceremony was held at the Governor House in Quetta, where Balochistan Governor Jaffar Khan Mandokhail administered the oath.

The event was attended by Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti, provincial ministers, senior judges, lawyers, and Inspector General of Police Moazzam Jah Ansari, among others.

Meanwhile, the senior-most judge of the Supreme Court of Pakistan, Justice Syed Mansoor Ali Shah, is scheduled to take oath as the acting Chief Justice of Pakistan tomorrow.

Justice Ejaz Swati retires as chief justice of Balochistan high court

Justice Ayesha A. Malik will administer the oath to Justice Mansoor Ali Shah. The formal ceremony will be held at the Supreme Court’s Lahore Registry at 3 PM tomorrow.
