SORAB: Authorities in Balochistan have imposed a temporary ban on face coverings and pillion riding on motorcycles in Sorab and Nushki. The decision comes amid intensified security operations against what officials call “Fitna-ul-Hindustan.”
According to official notifications, residents can no longer wear masks or cover their faces in public. The ban takes effect immediately. It aims to help security forces identify suspects during ongoing counter-terror operations.
Motorcycle pillion riding is also banned in both cities until June 10. Officials say this step will help prevent threats and maintain order.
People have been told to avoid areas where operations are underway. In Sorab, movement restrictions will remain during the crackdown.
Authorities say these steps are temporary but crucial. They believe the measures will support the operation’s success and protect citizens.
