QUETTA: The Eid Special Train has left Quetta for Peshawar with over 450 passengers on board.
DS Railways Imran Hayat said the train will reach Peshawar via key cities. It will stop at several stations to provide ease to passengers.
Pakistan Railways arranged this special train for Eid. It has a seating capacity of 650. More than 450 seats were booked before departure.
Strict security was ensured at the time of departure. Imran Hayat told the media that special steps were taken to protect the train and track. The aim is to ensure a peaceful and safe journey for all.
He said the railway administration is committed to serving the public during Eid. The special train is part of that effort. “We aim to offer safe, comfortable, and on-time travel,” he added. “All necessary measures are in place.”
