Indian proxies pose regional threat, Says DG ISPR

RAWALPINDI: The Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif, has strongly condemned India’s continued involvement in proxy warfare, terming it a grave threat to peace and stability in the region.

He was addressing educators during a session of Hilal Talks, Lt. Gen. Sharif declared Pakistan’s constant stance on Balochistan, stating,

“Balochistan is an inseparable part of Pakistan and can never be detached.”

The DG ISPR explicitly named the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA), labeling it a proxy terrorist outfit operating with Indian funding and direction.

“The BLA is a tool of foreign agenda, particularly Indian intelligence, aiming to undermine Pakistan’s unity and disrupt peace in Balochistan,” he asserted.

Furthermore, the BLA, a proscribed terrorist organization, has a long record of targeting civilians, infrastructure, and security personnel. Its violent ideology has been repeatedly condemned by both national and international observers, and the revelation of its foreign patronage further exposes the broader geopolitical conspiracy against Pakistan.
