CM Bugti, NAVTTC chairperson discuss youth empowerment

QUETTA: Chief Minister of Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti, met with Gulmina Bilal, Chairperson of the National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC), to discuss the expansion of technical education and skill development across the province.

The high-level meeting focused on promoting vocational training, IT education, and employment-oriented initiatives for Balochistan’s youth. The Chief Minister stressed his government’s firm resolve to equip at least 30,000 young individuals with professional skills over the next five years, enabling them to secure dignified employment, both within the country and abroad.

Furthermore, Chief Minister Bugti mentioned his administration’s commitment to transparency and merit in all recruitment processes. “The recent appointments in health and education departments were based purely on merit, reflecting our dedication to restoring public confidence in government institutions,” he said.

He further focused on that technical and vocational education is a cornerstone of the province’s development strategy. 

In such a scenario, NAVTTC Chairperson Gulmina Bilal commended the provincial government’s progressive vision and expressed NAVTTC’s full support in implementing skill-building programs across Balochistan. 

In this sense, the meeting concluded with agreement on launching several joint initiatives, details of which will be finalized in the coming weeks.
