Police thwart terror attack in DG Khan, kills four Khawarij

Dera Ghazi Khan: Punjab Police has foiled a major terrorist attack and killed four terrorists in Dera Ghazi Khan district of Punjab.

Punjab police spokesperson told local media that heavy weapons were also recovered from the foreign terrorists who were killed in the exchange of fire during the operation conducted in the Kot Mubarak area of Dera Ghazi Khan.

Spokesperson further said that the terrorists were terrorizing citizens at different places and attacked the police with heavy weapons, but the timely action of the police foiled their nefarious intentions.

According to the police spokesperson, a search operation was also continued in the area during the operation to ensure the arrest of any potential terrorist.

Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi congratulated the police for repelling the attack of the Khawarji terrorists, adding that the police once again bravely fought the Khawarji terrorists and brought them to hell.

The Interior Minister further said that he congratulates the entire police team for foiling the nefarious intentions of the terrorists of Fitna-ul-Khawarij and is proud of the brave and professional sons of the Punjab Police.

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz also congratulated the Punjab Police and appreciated the police team for the successful operation in Kot Mubarak.
