BLA militants harass passengers on Quetta-Karachi Highway

BLA Militants Harass Passengers on Quetta-Karachi Highway

QUETTA: In Mastung, armed militants from the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) disrupted traffic on the Quetta-Karachi highway, stopping passenger buses and subjecting travelers to abuse and humiliation.

According to details, the terrorists halted several vehicles, forced passengers to disembark, searched the vehicles, and checked identity cards. During this ordeal, passengers were physically harassed and verbally abused with extremely offensive language.

Shocked passengers questioned who had granted these armed men the authority to treat ordinary citizens in such a degrading manner. They protested strongly, alleging that these armed thugs, backed by Indian interests, were behaving as if the highways and region belonged to them. They expressed disbelief that such lawlessness could exist within a sovereign state.

The passengers further criticized so-called human rights activists, pointing out their silence during such incidents and sudden activism only when such terrorists are arrested or killed.

They stressed that foreign-backed terrorism in Balochistan is on the rise, while state institutions continue to show restraint. According to them, peaceful approaches are ineffective against hired militants, and a ruthless operation must be launched to eliminate them and their hideouts completely. These individuals, they emphasized, do not represent any nation but are mere tools of external agendas and must be brought to a severe and unforgettable end.
