Governor Balochistan stated security forces ready to restore peace

QUETTA: The grand jirga in Balochistan was attended by the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Field Marshal General Asim Munir, the Chief Minister of Balochistan, the Acting Governor of Balochistan, and prominent tribal leaders from across the province. During the session, Governor Balochistan reasserted the state’s commitment to restoring peace in the region.  He stated, the security forces of Pakistan are fully prepared to combat terrorism and ensure the protection of our citizens. They are determined to control the law and order situation in Balochistan, but lasting peace can only be achieved with the support and cooperation of the Baloch people.

The meeting aimed to find sustainable solutions to the socio-political and security issues afflicting Balochistan, with a key focus on counter-terrorism strategies, tribal integration, and economic revival.

During the session, Governor Balochistan reasserted the state’s commitment to restoring peace in the region. He stated, the security forces of Pakistan are fully prepared to combat terrorism and ensure the protection of our citizens. They are determined to control the law and order situation in Balochistan, but lasting peace can only be achieved with the support and cooperation of the Baloch people.

Furthermore, Governor Balochistan also mentions the sacrifices made by the security forces and local communities in the fight against militancy. He focused that the government will continue to engage with tribal leaders and representatives to ensure that the voices of the local population are heard and addressed.
