Field Marshal Asim Munir Vows to Defeat Terrorism with Unity

QUETTA: According to a statement issued by ISPR, Field Marshal and Chief of Army Staff Asim Munir visited the Command and Staff College in Quetta, where he addressed student officers and faculty members.

During his speech, he expressed deep sorrow over the recent Sorab attack and paid tribute to the martyrs of Operation Bunyad-e-Marsous, showing full solidarity with their families.

He emphasized that under the national leadership, the people of Pakistan have become an unbreakable wall in defense of their homeland.

He reiterated that the war against terrorism will be taken to its logical conclusion through national cooperation.

Field Marshal Asim warned that India’s hybrid terrorism will have severe consequences and reaffirmed Pakistan’s capability to defeat any form of aggression, including full-spectrum threats.

He highlighted the evolving nature of global and regional conflicts, stressing the growing trend of unprovoked Indian military aggression. He condemned India’s illegal acts of “water terrorism” and called for a peaceful resolution of the internationally recognized Kashmir dispute.

The Field Marshal urged officers to prepare themselves for the future battlefield with dedication, resilience, and innovation.

He praised the Command and Staff College for its role in producing high-caliber military leaders and emphasized the importance of creative thinking and research.

He noted that military training must not only address present challenges but also equip forces for future conflicts requiring agility, innovation, and unwavering resolve.

Upon arrival in Quetta, Field Marshal Asim Munir was received by the Quetta Corps Commander and Commandant of the Command and Staff College.
