Internet Outage in Panjgur Halts Salary and Pension Payments

Panjgur: Internet outage in the city of Panjgur, Balochistan, has disrupted salary and pension disbursements, forcing employees and elderly pensioners to return home empty-handed.

Due to the complete suspension of internet services, banking systems were rendered non-functional, leaving people waiting for hours outside banks in extreme heat.

Despite their long wait, the internet remained down throughout banking hours, resulting in no payments being processed.

Frustrated employees and pensioners expressed anger over the situation, stating they had traveled long distances in the scorching heat only to be told that no cash could be issued due to the internet issue.

They criticized the provincial government for failing to ensure basic services while making tall claims about improving living standards and equal rights for Balochistan’s people. Some even remarked that it felt like living in the Stone Age, with even their kitchen stoves now dependent on internet access. They demanded immediate action from authorities.
