ISLAMABAD: The officials have raised concerns over the activities of Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC), accusing it of promoting anti-state narratives and inciting unrest under the guise of freedom of expression.
According to official sources, the group is allegedly targeting the youth in Balochistan, spreading propaganda against Pakistan’s institutions and judiciary.
The government has taken legal action against several individuals linked to the group, including Mahrang Ghaffar, who is currently detained under Section 3 of the Maintenance of Public Order (MPO). Officials stress that these measures are constitutional and necessary for maintaining law and order.
The government maintains that criticism of legal processes and institutions, when used to undermine state authority or incite disorder, will not be tolerated.

The residents of Balochistan demanded from the government to take strict against those who are spreading hate and luring the youth by using misinformation against the state.
Authorities have called for vigilance and unity in the face of efforts to destabilize the region.
