QUETTA: Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bugti met with officials from the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) and the United Business Group (UBG).
During the meeting, attended by the governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Faisal Karim Kundi, provincial ministers, parliamentarians, and members of the Balochistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, prayers were offered for the souls of the martyrs of the Khuzdar school bus attack.
Sarfaraz Bugti warmly welcomed the business community of Pakistan to Balochistan, which he says offers huge investment opportunities in multiple sectors.
He said the provincial government is committed to creating a favorable environment for investors.
He assured that the government would welcome and consider suggestions from investors. He stressed that FPCCI and UBG can play a key role in developing economic zones in the province.
The Chief Minister said Balochistan offers investment opportunities in sectors like mining, solar energy, oil, and gas.
He stated that the government supports legal trade and opposes smuggling. He added that efforts are underway to attract investors to set up industries in the province.
He noted that new industries will create jobs for the people of Balochistan.
Officials from FPCCI and UBG appreciated the Chief Minister’s efforts. They also praised Bilal Khan Kakar, CEO of the Balochistan Board of Investment and Trade, for promoting investment in the province.
