RTA launches Crackdown Against Unregistered Rikhshaws in Quetta

QUETTA: Regional Transport Authority (RTA) Quetta Division has crackdown against the unregistered rikhshaws in the city as part of efforts to improve traffic flow in the provincial capital.

During the checking Koila Pathak Quetta, the operation was conducted in the supervision of Secretary RTA Asad Durrani and SP Traffic, the officials confiscated at least 10 rikhshaws for not having the permit to roam in the city, under section 15 of motor vehicle ordinance.

The authorities also chalan more than 40 rikhshaws over violations of traffic rules.

RTA officials told the media that the campaign will continue in the coming days. They emphasized that the initiative aims to discourage unregistered rickshaw operations and provide relief to citizens by ensuring smoother and safer traffic conditions in Quetta
