Dispute over deal, not kidnapping: AC clarifies Bostan bus incident

QUETTA: According to Express News, Assistant Commissioner of Karezat, Amir Hamza, clarified that the incident involving a passenger bus in the Bostan area was not a case of abduction but rather a dispute over a financial transaction.

He stated that no passengers were kidnapped; instead, armed individuals took two drivers and the bus due to a disagreement.

Amir Hamza further added that the local administration is actively working to recover the drivers and the vehicle, assuring that the matter will be resolved soon.

He confirmed that the armed men left the passengers unharmed and that efforts are also underway to apprehend the suspects involved.

Some news outlets claimed that a passenger bus was kidnapped in Bostan by a few armed persons who had taken 48 passengers and the bus staff hostage and moved them to an undisclosed location.
