NASEERABAD: Deputy Commissioner Munir Ahmed Khan Kakar officially inaugurated the anti-polio campaign in Naseerabad, upholding the district administration’s commitment to eradicating the crippling disease from the province.
In this regard, the formal launching ceremony was held at the district health office, where Deputy Commissioner Kakar administered polio drops to children under five, symbolizing the beginning of the week-long vaccination drive.
He was speaking at the event, DC Munir, focused on the importance of community participation in the success of the campaign.
He urged parents to ensure that no child is left unvaccinated, mentioning that polio remains a serious threat to children’s health and future.
Furthermore, the campaign aims to reach thousands of children across urban and rural areas of Naseerabad.
