Khuzdar attack exposes India’s hand in sponsoring terrorism: Mir Behram

ISLAMABAD: A senior political analyst and journalist, Mir Behram Baloch, strongly condemned the recent attack targeting children in Khuzdar, stating that the perpetrators have once again proven themselves to be a terrorist state sponsoring terrorism in the region.

Speaking at the Burak Digital podcast, the analyst emphasised that such heinous acts have only further isolated those who might have once held sympathetic views.

In the past year, several such incidents have occurred. Has this violence gained them any more support? On the contrary, even the ten percent who may have once sympathised with them have now turned away, he said.

He highlighted the urgency with which the Prime Minister and Field Marshal canceled all engagements to visit Balochistan shows the seriousness with which the state views this cowardly attack. We had some idea that the enemy—cowardly as they are—could resort to such tactics.”

The analyst drew a direct line to India’s involvement, suggesting, “How can we not say this cowardly enemy is India? Just last week, rockets were fired on a religious school, targeting innocent boys and girls. Our young daughters were martyred in that attack, and now they have repeated the same brutality.”

Reflecting on the widespread impact of the attack, he said, “We haven’t even healed from those earlier wounds, and now again we are mourning. Yesterday, we visited various towns across Balochistan and witnessed unified grief. The entire province, in fact, the entire country, stood in sorrow.

The analyst concluded with a powerful message: “Such acts of violence achieve nothing. India accuses us of terrorism, but the world is watching and knows who is truly behind these atrocities. India should accept its defeat in the recent clash with Pakistan. History is full of wars where the losing side has eventually admitted its loss. It’s time India does the same.”
