QUETTA: A student identified as Mahzeb, affiliated with the Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC), was caught cheating red-handed during an ongoing examination in Hub, Balochistan.
According to reports, the BYC members reached the spot after the incident and started accusing the authorities of harassment with the aim to divert the attention from her using unfair mean in the examination.
Sources present at scene told local media that the incident unfolded when a raiding team, accompanied by police personnel, conducted a surprise inspection of the examination center and a student identified as Mahzeb was found using unauthorized materials during the examination.
She attempted to divert attention from the incident by accusing the authorities of harassment and invoking slogans of “rights” — a move many have described as an attempt to politicize a clear breach of academic integrity.
The raiding team, which had been deployed to ensure transparency and curb unfair practices in the examination process, acted in accordance with local educational board regulations.
Critics argued that Mahzeb’s reaction was exactly the BYC pattern as they always trying to violate the rules and regulations and if the authorities take action then they start accusations of harassment and rights of the people, which is a shame.
