PANJGUR: The woman and a child lost their lives after a Zamyad pickup truck overturned and caught fire in a tragic road accident.
In this regard, another person sustained serious burn injuries in the incident and was shifted to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
The accident occurred when the Zamyad vehicle overturned while travelling on a road in the Nushki area. Moments after the vehicle overturned, it was engulfed in flames.
In this sense, the rescue teams and local authorities rushed to the scene immediately after receiving information about the accident. The firefighters managed to bring the blaze under control after considerable efforts, while rescue personnel recovered the bodies of the deceased from the burnt vehicle.
So far, the third passenger suffered severe burn injuries and was provided emergency medical assistance before being transported to a hospital, where doctors are continuing treatment. The condition of the injured person is reported to be critical.
The identities of the victims have not yet been officially released, and authorities are working to inform their families. Police have secured the accident site and initiated an investigation to determine the exact cause of the vehicle overturning and the subsequent fire.
