State should take decisive action against terrorists: Raisani

QUETTA – Member of the National Assembly, Jamal Khan Raisani, stated that if the brutal killing of innocent passengers could lead to Balochistan’s independence, it would have happened long ago.

Speaking at the death anniversary of his father, Siraj Khan Raisani, he urged the state to take strict and decisive action against those responsible for such barbaric acts.

He recalled that his father had dedicated his life to promoting peace in Balochistan and was martyred in a suicide bombing in 2018.

“It wasn’t a natural death,” he emphasized. “We have carried the coffins of our loved ones who gave their lives for peace, progress, and prosperity. Only those who have experienced such loss can truly feel this pain.”

Jamal Raisani expressed that everyone present at the memorial—elders, children, and youth—have all endured hardships and suffering.

He reflected that the best way to honor his father’s legacy was to carry forward his mission.

“I entered politics to contribute to fulfilling his vision of a peaceful and prosperous Balochistan,” he said.

He acknowledged the ongoing challenges in the province, saying, “It would be a lie to claim there are no problems.

The people of Balochistan are hurting. There is sorrow, despair, and underdevelopment here.

But we must confront all of this. We need to bring the kind of progress to Balochistan that other provinces enjoy, and work to resolve the issues that plague our region.”
