QUETTA: Pakistan Security Forces Launch Major Intelligence-Based Operations Against BLA in Balochistan
Pakistan’s security forces have conducted a series of coordinated, intelligence-driven operations across several districts of Balochistan, delivering a significant blow to the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) network and reasserting control in sensitive areas.
The operations targeted BLA infrastructure in Panjgur, Kharan, Kalat, Mastung, Turbat, and Quetta.
According to official details, security forces eliminated 32 BLA terrorists, injured 17, and captured 11 alive during the action.
In a major success in Panjgur, a key BLA commander identified as Nazir alias Chakar was neutralized along with seven of his associates.
In Kharan, a precise drone strike destroyed a BLA vehicle, killing four terrorists on the spot.
Weapons and ammunition of American origin were recovered from hideouts in Washuk and Kalat, indicating well-organized supply chains.
Interrogation of captured militants has reportedly revealed cross-border infiltration routes through Kunar and Kandahar, suggesting external support.
Security officials described the operation as highly effective in degrading the BLA’s operational capability, disrupting its logistics, and weakening its command structure in the region.
