SWAT: Police and security forces carried out a joint search and strike operation in the Gut, Peuchar, Muraday, and adjoining areas of Swat as part of the ongoing efforts to maintain peace and stability in the region.
So far, the operation was aimed at identifying suspected hideouts, verifying the presence of unlawful activities, and strengthening coordination with local communities to ensure security at the grassroots level. In this sense, police officials stated that the cooperation of local communities remains crucial in preventing the resurgence of militancy and unlawful elements in the valley.
Furthermore, residents of the area welcomed the operation and expressed their willingness to support law enforcement agencies. They appreciated the proactive role of the police and security forces in ensuring a safe environment for daily life.
