NADRA team soon to resolve Chagai block identity cards issue: Sanjrani

NADRA launches Digital Service for online update of identity records

NOKUNDI: Member of Provincial Assembly (MPA) from Chagai, Haji Sadiq Sanjrani, made an unannounced visit to Nokundi Bazaar and the bypass area on Thursday morning, where he met with shopkeepers and local residents, listened to their concerns, and announced a series of development initiatives for the district.

The surprise visit drew an enthusiastic response from the public, with people gathering spontaneously upon spotting the elected representative. Sanjrani, who hails from the area, engaged directly with shopkeepers and citizens, reaffirming his commitment to the development of Chagai—a district that he noted had delivered a decisive electoral victory.

“Our doors will always be open to the public, no matter what,” Sanjrani told the gathering. “We are making every effort to provide basic facilities to the people of Chagai according to our vision.”

Addressing the crowd, the MPA outlined his vision for transforming Nokundi into a model city. “Our dream is to give the gift of a beautiful city to our people—a city where all facilities are available alongside beauty,” he said. “With improving law and order, a clean and educated Nokundi is our dream.”

To achieve this goal, Sanjrani announced that work on a comprehensive master plan for Nokundi would commence soon, developed in consultation with the public and shopkeepers. He also addressed a key concern regarding the bypass area, stating that work to resolve issues faced by transporters and the public would begin shortly. He revealed that he would seek approval of Rs 360 million from the provincial government for the bypass project.

On the issue of block identity cards affecting hundreds of residents, Sanjrani assured the public that efforts were underway to resolve the matter. “Insha Allah, a team from NADRA is coming to Chagai from Islamabad very soon, which will solve the problems of the block identity cards,” he said.

The MPA emphasized his deep connection to the area, noting that Nokundi is his native village. “I am well aware of the problems and issues of the people here, so I am trying to solve these problems with special attention,” he stated. He further highlighted that improving educational institutions and health facilities remained among his top priorities.

The public and shopkeepers of Nokundi welcomed the MPA’s engagement, expressing appreciation for his direct outreach. Local circles noted that when public representatives remain accessible to their constituents, problems are resolved more quickly and effectively. The visit was widely seen as a positive step toward addressing longstanding developmental and administrative issues in the border district of Chagai.
