Quetta: Provincial Minister for Communication and Works, Mir Salim Khosa, stated during a press conference that the law and order situation in Balochistan is currently critical.
Condemning the recent Chaman Phatak blast, the minister shared that he had met with the victims to express solidarity.
He also addressed the recent Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PkMAP) rally in Chaman, noting that calls were made to form a “national militia” (Qaumi Lashkar).
Khosa emphasized that the Constitution of Pakistan does not permit such actions, reiterating that the struggle for rights must remain peaceful.
Furthermore, the minister advocated for enhanced trade and economic development for the province.
He praised Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti for doing an excellent job, while firmly stating that Balochistan will not tolerate any cuts to its designated federal budget share.
