RAWALPINDI: The Rawalpindi Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education has officially announced a revised schedule for the postponed annual matriculation examinations. The decision comes after certain examination papers were delayed due to unforeseen circumstances linked to international developments.
The previously postponed papers will now be conducted in early May. The Urdu paper has been rescheduled for May 2 and will take place in the morning shift. Meanwhile, the Geography paper will be held on the same day during the second shift.
The exams were earlier postponed in light of disruptions caused by ongoing international negotiations, which affected the overall examination schedule. However, the board has now taken steps to minimize academic loss and ensure that students can complete their examinations without further delay.
In this regard, students and parents have been urged to stay updated through official channels and follow the revised timetable carefully. The board has also reassured candidates that adequate measures are in place to maintain fairness and discipline during the examination process.
In this sense, edducation officials mentiond the importance of timely communication and cooperation from students, teachers, and parents to successfully carry out the revised schedule.
