Iranian Naval Forces ready to deliver strong response to threats, says Supreme Leader

TEHRAN: Iran’s Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, has asserted that the country’s naval forces are fully prepared to confront and defeat any potential threats posed by adversaries.

The Supreme Leader emphasized that Iran’s armed forces, particularly the navy, possess the capability and readiness to respond effectively to any challenge in the region. He stated that safeguarding national sovereignty and security remains a top priority, and all defense units are on high alert to ensure the country’s protection.

Mojtaba Khamenei noted that Iran continues to strengthen its military capabilities. He reasserted that the nation is committed to maintaining a robust defense posture and is prepared to deliver a decisive response to any form of aggression.

“The Iranian naval forces are fully equipped and ready to inflict a new and bitter defeat on enemies if necessary,” he said, underlining the confidence of the leadership in the country’s military preparedness.

The statement comes at a time when regional tensions have been on the rise, with increasing geopolitical uncertainties and security concerns in surrounding areas.

In this sense, Iran has consistently maintained that its military capabilities are aimed at deterrence rather than aggression. However, officials have made it clear that any threat to the country’s sovereignty will be met with a firm and immediate response.

Meanwhile, the international community continues to monitor developments closely, as increased rhetoric and military readiness across the region contribute to an already delicate security environment.
