Mumbai: An alleged person of drug case was released on court’s order in India after 200 kg Hashish was found eaten up by the rats.
According to the reports of Indian media, the court of Jharkhand state released an alleged person who was arrested in the drugs case.
The court slammed the police for not taking necessary care of all the evidences of the case.
The report says that the case was of year 2022 when the police stopped a car on the national highway and claimed to recover a major haul of Hashish from it.
The police said during the trial that the captured drugs of 3 caror Pakistani rupees worth.
However, the drugs were eaten up by the rats in the godown.
The police expressed the inability to provide the evidence of the drugs.
The judge turned down the explanation remarking that the statement raises suspicions on the entire overview of the case.
However, the alleged person was ordered to be released immediately.
