NEW YORK: Pakistan’s national cricketers have arrived in New York to participate in a roadshow aimed at attracting investors for the Pakistan Super League (PSL), officials said.
The PSL roadshow is scheduled for Friday at 4:00 p.m. local time.
Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi will attend the event, sources said.
Former cricket stars Wasim Akram and Ramiz Raja are also expected to take part.
Several leading players will join, including Test captain Shan Masood and T20 captain Salman Agha. Batsmen Saud Shakeel and Saim Ayub, spinner Abrar Ahmed, and all-rounder Faheem Ashraf will also be present.
Officials said the roadshow aims to promote the PSL and expand its global reach.
Earlier, the PCB said its first-ever PSL roadshow at Lord’s Cricket Ground drew strong interest from investors.
The event, promoting PSL 11, saw a large turnout of potential investors. Many reportedly expressed interest in acquiring two new franchises.
