KARACHI: Pakistan Petroleum Dealers Association (PPDA) Sindh President Amir Khan Mehsud has dismissed rumors circulating about a potential strike by petrol pumps from May 1 to May 5, calling the claims completely baseless.
In an official statement, Mehsud reassured the public that all petrol pumps across the region will remain open as usual, with uninterrupted fuel supply continuing without any disruption.
“The public is assured that all petrol pumps will remain open as usual and uninterrupted supply of fuel will continue,” Mehsud said.
The PPDA further advised citizens to refrain from paying heed to unverified news and to obtain information only from authentic sources. The association urged the public not to panic over what it described as unfounded rumors.
Consumers have been encouraged to carry on with their daily routines and refuel their vehicles as needed, with no anticipated disruption to fuel availability in the coming days.
