Hot or Rainy? Here’s What Pakistan’s Weather Forecast Says for Today

ISLAMABAD: Most parts of Pakistan are expected to remain hot and humid on Monday, while rain and thunderstorms may hit parts of the northeast and northern regions, the Pakistan Meteorological Department said.

The weather service forecast rain with strong winds and thunderstorms in parts of northeast Punjab, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir and adjoining hilly areas during the evening or night.

Islamabad and nearby areas will remain hot and humid. The sky will stay partly cloudy. There is a 40% chance of rain and thunderstorms in the morning or at night.

Most parts of Punjab will remain hot and humid. Rain and thunderstorms are possible in Murree, the Galiyat region, Gujrat, Gujranwala, Sialkot, Narowal, Lahore, Kasur, Okara, Sheikhupura, Jhelum and nearby areas.

Most parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will also remain hot and humid. Upper districts will see partly cloudy skies.

Rain and thunderstorms are possible in parts of Dir, Swat, Kohistan, Shangla, Battagram, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Bajaur, Mohmand and Khyber during the evening or night.

Most parts of Sindh will remain hot and humid. Coastal areas may experience partly cloudy conditions.

Most districts of Balochistan will also remain hot and humid.

Kashmir is expected to remain partly cloudy, with rain and thunderstorms possible at isolated locations.

The weather department forecast partly cloudy skies in Gilgit-Baltistan.
