ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced a 16-member squad for the upcoming Test series against Bangladesh, with Shan Masood set to continue as captain.
Selectors included four new players in the squad as Pakistan looks to refresh its red-ball setup.
Five members of the squad are already attending the ongoing red-ball camp at the National Cricket Academy in Lahore.
The full squad will assemble in Karachi on April 27 for a training camp. The camp will run until May 1. The team will depart for Bangladesh on May 2.
Players involved in PSL 11 will join the camp after completing their franchise commitments.
Meanwhile, former Test captain Sarfaraz Ahmed has been appointed head coach for the tour. Former internationals Asad Shafiq and Umar Gul will serve as batting and bowling coaches, respectively.
The squad includes Babar Azam, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Mohammad Rizwan, Imam-ul-Haq, and Salman Ali Agha among others.

Pakistan will face Bangladesh in a two-match Test series. The first Test will begin on May 8. The second Test will start on May 16.
