ISLAMABAD: A telephone conversation was held between Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and Egypt’s Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty, the Foreign Office said.
The exchange took place late at night, according to a spokesperson for the Foreign Office.
Regional developments and diplomatic efforts were discussed during the call. Pakistan’s ongoing diplomatic initiatives were also reviewed in detail.
The importance of sustained dialogue and diplomacy for regional and global peace and stability was emphasized by both sides.
It was agreed that continued engagement would be maintained to reduce tensions and support lasting peace.
Opportunities for strengthening bilateral cooperation were also considered during the conversation.
The contact was made at a time of increased diplomatic activity in the region, with multiple countries engaged in efforts to promote peace and stability.
