BEIJING: Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari, who is on official visit to Beijing, participated in a ceremony for key economic and scientific agreements between the two countries, officials said.
The event was held in Sanya, where a joint project agreement and two memorandums of understanding were signed between entities from Pakistan and China.
The agreements were concluded in the sectors of construction machinery, animal vaccines, and medical technology.
The ceremony was attended by members of the accompanying delegation.
The agreements were aimed at strengthening cooperation in key sectors and promoting the exchange of advanced technologies, according to officials.
The development was described as reflecting expanding economic and scientific ties between the two countries.
