Karachi: The Pakistan Navy has launched a rescue operation for a cargo vessel traveling from Oman to India after it encountered difficulties at sea.
Following a humanitarian request from a rescue center in Mumbai, assistance was promptly provided to the Indian vessel MV Gautam.
The ship was carrying six Indian nationals and one Indonesian citizen.
A rescue ship was immediately dispatched, and the crew on board has been provided with food and medical aid.
