QUETTA: The Chief Secretary of Balochistan, Shakeel Qadir Khan, has said the provincial government is committed to providing basic facilities at people’s doorsteps.
Addressing a conference of Commissioners and Deputy Commissioners. Shakeel Qadir Khan said that quality health, education, clean drinking water, and electricity supply are the government’s top priorities in the province.
The Chief Secretary stressed that the government is taking concrete steps for balanced development to ensure these essential services are provided to the people. He further mentioned that all available resources are being effectively utilized for the welfare of the public.
In the health sector, he said the government has made progress. It is working to provide free medicines and improve healthcare access across the province.
He directed all Deputy Commissioners to monitor food prices. He warned against violations of official rate lists. He also called for faster repatriation of illegal immigrants.
These steps show the government’s strong push for reforms in education, healthcare, and the economy.
