NASIRABAD: Two longstanding officers of the Nasirabad police, Office Superintendents Abdul Rahim Sasoli and Mahmood Abro, were honored at a formal retirement ceremony on Thursday after completing decades of distinguished service. The event, hosted by DIG Police Nasirabad Range, Captain (Retd) Asim Khan, was attended by senior officials including SSP Nasirabad, SP Osta Muhammad, SP Highway Police, alongside numerous colleagues and staff members.
The gathering celebrated the professional careers of both officers, lauding their unwavering integrity, dedication, and significant contributions to the region’s law enforcement framework. In his address, DIG Capt. (Retd) Asim Khan praised the retiring officials as institutional assets whose careers of service set a high standard for their peers and successors. He emphasized that such officers form the backbone of the department, leaving behind a legacy of commitment that inspires the entire force.
In response, both Abdul Rahim Sasoli and Mahmood Abro expressed their gratitude to the police department for the guidance and support they received throughout their long tenures. They reflected on their service with pride and appreciation for their colleagues.
The ceremonial farewell concluded with the presentation of commemorative shields, traditional Balochi headgear (Turban), shawls, and other tokens of appreciation to the retiring officers, marking a respectful and heartfelt send-off from the force they served diligently.
Meanwhile the Chief Justice of the Balochistan High Court, Mr. Justice Kamran Khan Mulakhel, conducted a detailed inspection of several ongoing development projects in the provincial capital on Tuesday, stressing the need to ensure smooth traffic flow and maximum citizen relief.
During his visit to projects under the Chief Minister’s Development Package, Justice Mulakhel was briefed by the Project Director on the significant progress made. Officials reported that the expansion of Inscombe Road has already yielded positive results, creating an effective traffic distribution system that has notably reduced congestion on Zarghun Road. According to the briefing, approximately 20,000 to 22,000 vehicles are now being diverted daily via Inscombe Road, which has also improved traffic conditions on the major MA Jinnah Road.
